Excellent staff, excellent care. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they are EXPENSIVE. I haven't had much contact with the animal health care industry, but $3,000 for less than 48 hrs and no surgery seems like a lot. Aside from how much it cost I have nothing but good things to say about this clinic. They took great notes and I have no doubt my cat was well-cared for and comfortable. They got my "ok" before they did anything, so I knew in advance what it would cost.
Had an emergency with my 2 year Havenese Hurt her paw Lots of blood Dr. Felton came right out and ensured me A She would be find Shannon receptionist was pleasant , quick, and we were out in 45 min Bill 195 Worth every penny Joan S. from Miami Fl
I had a great experience here with my rabbit, Ripley. I had discovered a wound on her side so after calling 4 other places, I finally called them and they had a vet on staff that was experienced in treating rabbits. I was able to drive over right away and they did a great job of clipping and cleaning up the wound. Luckily everything was already healing up nicely, so no medication was needed. Everyone there was super friendly and Ripley did not seem traumatized at all by the visit. We saw Dr. Corrigan, and I will definitely k... read more
I have been meaning to write a review for a while but haven't had the time. Oct of last year our dog became sick over night and I had to take him somewhere since it was a Sunday. The staff and vet (I can't remember their names) were all really nice. The front staff actually carried my 75 lb dog into the building. Our dog wasn't stable and after being given options for him we had to euthanize him. The vet was patient and gave us time to think about what our dog needed. They also let us go in the back room and lay with him as ... read more
Let's talk about my trip to a huge local university hospital emergency room in the middle of the night. I had to sit, while in pain, and go over all the forms and releases necessary for them to treat me. And the bills! Out of this world. Oh, and no warm fizzles for me, either. Now let's talk about Emerald City Emergency Clinic. They have been nothing but professional and caring in critical, late night situations. In no way did we feel they were there just to make money. Several years ago we had taken out beloved dog there, i... read more
the assistant who greeted us at the door and took her to the back room was nice. I could tell she had kitty compassion and I appreciated that.
This is my first time writing any review on Yelp but felt the need after two visits to Emerald City and seeing some of the less than favorable reviews. This is not to discredit those experiences, only to share my own. I was a little hesitant based on reviews but my experience was exceptional give the circumstances. I've had the luck of visiting a few ERs and know that at least a few hundred will be spent. That's a given especially with larger dogs. When my one dog had a bout of colitis the team there was very responsive. The... read more
Have you ever been awake in the middle of night sitting with your favorite family member... a dog or cat perhaps? And realized he or she is extremely sick and you have no idea what to do about it!?? I've been in the same boat! I truly adore my primary vet (and it took some time to find her). Alas, it was 4:00am and my precious dog was in pain and I couldn't wait till 9am. Blurry eyed, with PJs and smart phone. I called, "Emerald City Emergency Clinic", mostly because they were the only ones open. From start to finish though ... read more
I wouldn't call the experience great, as no one wants to have to take a furry family member to the vet at 2AM. That said, Emerald City took amazing care of my dog Molly when I brought her in 3 months ago with what turned out to be bloat and a twisted stomach. They got her in immediately, performed the tests to determine what was wrong, and she was in surgery within the hour. The excellent doctor saved Molly's life, and her aftercare was excellent. I was regularly called with updates from various staff and the doctor on duty,... read more
