Our dog was hit by a car and dragged after getting loose. We took him to Emerald City Emergency Clinic and were fearing the worse for our poor dog. The staff cared for his wounds, stitched everything up, made him comfortable and he survived the incident as a a result of their excellent care. I would recommend going here for any pet emergency

This clinic is absolutely amazing. It is never a place you want to have to go but they made my experiences as good as can be for the situation. I wish they weren't just for emergencies only - I would love to be able to see them for regular care. We had to have our dog euthanized and they were so loving and helpful and caring through our terrible sad time.

Took my dog here after he was bitten by a dog at the dog park and it was after my normal vet was closed. They were efficient and completely adequate.

The staff was extremely considerate and helpful. They gave extra in detail explanations for any issues which may be occurring as well as answered our questions on general wellbeing and home environment. I am happy I found a great animal hospital.

My dog Chester had an emergency splenectomy a little over three weeks ago. These folks were wonderful. It was a serious situation--an internal bleed--and no one knew for certain how the surgery would come out. Chester was carefully checked and tested, and ultimately had a successful, uneventful surgery. I was called before she went in and after she was done. She recovered uneventfully and fully. A biopsy was positive for hemangeosarcoma--an aggressive cancer that almost inevitably recurs, even if there is no visible tumor le... read more

We were there on a Saturday night with our Golden Retriever who suddenly could not walk. Dr. Miller and her team were prompt, and gave him immediate help. I was impressed with their knowledge and appreciated their concern to both our dog and us. I appreciated the high/and low price quotes for the different medical tests. We had a very positive experience.

These guys were super helpful! When another area vet sent me off to the ASPCA phone number to help with poison control, I was discouraged. The ASPCA charges $65 for a consultation, and not that my kitty isn't worth it, but I was pretty sure he was fine, just double checking! So I called these guys and they were QUICK and HELPFUL and SUPER NICE! Nice to know my little guy is going to be okay; just an upset tummy! :)

I had a late night emergency with my dog and rushed him to Emerald City. Someone came out immediately and took him back to get X-rays. They quickly informed me of the issue and the estimate for the required surgery. (Emergency care is never inexpensive but it was definitely a life-or-death situation.) We waited while they did the surgery-and had us come back to see him as soon as possible. There is no question that their quick actions saved his life. He needed to be hospitalized for several days due to the severity of his su... read more
