I've taken cats there four times, twice at end-of-life situations and twice with emergencies when the other clinics were closed. They are expensive but at every time they were compassionate and tried their best to help my cats. They let me cry over my cats when there was nothing to be done for them, and the other two times they have been extremely polite and professional. They've helped one cat survive a blocked urinary tract and another when she had a gastrointestinal infection. Face it, tests at midnight aren't going to be... read more
Thank you all for your kindness and support. I truly appreciate everything you did for kitty meow meow. thanks to everyone who helped take care of him and all the doctors I spoke with so many times.
My Newfoundland decided to help clean up the antifreeze that leaked from my Husbands car last week. At first, I didn't know what the problem was until that night when a new puddle appeared from under the car. I rushed our boy to the clinic and they examined him and gave me a quote for treatment. By this time, He was having awfully bad convulsions. I wait tables and Gregg is in between jobs, so, I was up front and told them I didn't have any money. I was getting prepared for the only solution left, but the Doctor asks, "well,... read more
It is unfortunate that I have to write this, but I've had to take my dog to Emerald City a couple of times over the past 6 years and they've always done a great job getting her stitched back up (figuratively and literally). In both cases (one involved my dog basically going into shock from a bee sting) they gave me good information about the situation and what to do (if anything) regarding care going forward. Yes, the prices are quite high, but it's emergency care, so think of it like when you have to visit the ER. It's not ... read more
Twice, our dog ended up here: Once for some kind of bite that caused his entire face to swell, along with other symptoms too gross to mention. They were kind, gave me a clear idea of costs and stuck to the plan. (We were poor grad students and they were very considerate of that.) Fast forward 11 years and our sweet boy had a stroke at age 16. We brought him in and it was clearly time for him to say goodbye. They sensed our hesitation, and the vet looked him over (free of charge) and said that we should feel ok with our decis... read more
These people have saved my dog's life twice. Once when she was poisoned at a park by a possible fungus, and again after a near fatal dog attack. I have a small dog, a Papillon that is under 10lbs, so timing is everything. The receptionist is the sweetest little lady in the world and made the financial part as painless as possible (and thank goodness I have pet insurance). The doctors keep the most detailed notes of the procedures and explain everything so thoroughly. Thank you for saving my girl!
You guys all took such good care of Petri. keep up the great work. You must all have the biggest hearts out there.
Dogs and cats are expensive, and when they get sick on the weekend, it's going to be even more costly. Pet owners who don't understand this are likely to be frustrated with E.C. Emergency Clinic. I adopted a dog from a legit rescue on Tuesday, and it was horribly sick by Thursday. When I took it into a "regular" vet, they tentatively diagnosed her as having pain from her spay stitches. Wrong. By early Saturday morning, I knew my dog was worse than ever, and I took her to EC Emergency Clinic. The assistant was so thoughtful a... read more
