I visited the tea room in The Hops area today. Firstly, it must be said that Matthew working behind the counter was FIRST RATE!. Welcoming, attentive, friendly, helpful, professional and an utter sweetie,(mgmt give him pat on back!). Unfortunately, the rest of the visit went down hill. My tea pot for one was only half full of lukewarm water! So I asked for hot water that filled the pot. We waited ages for our snacks. Our drinks were getting cold. Very nice gardens, restaurant and bar. Nice people, good parking. Nice for a morning or afternoon out.
Heres a 5 star review for elgoods 'shug monkey'. A very moorish , enjoyable session beer.
