Normal experience. I got a call right away. I decided that I wanted to go with the LIMITED trim, so that's why I didn't pursue this car. No complaints about the dealer.
I leased my vehicle(Tucson) in 2015. After having it for 15,000 miles my engine blew and Hyundai replaced it. After 60,000/65,000 miles the same thing happened with my second engine and Hyundai replaced it for a third time. My check engine light came on less than 30 days of me receiving my vehicle back and when I called Hyundai the manager told me “I shouldn’t worry too much about the engine light, it’s when it’s flashing is when you should pull over and get towed somewhere”. Very professional and friendly. The salesperson, Raj, that worked me couldn’t have been more helpful. I’m happy with my experience at Elgin Hyundai and would highly recommend them to potential car buyers.
They were great, so great that I purchased the vehicle, would not hesitate to refer them to anyone. Tabitha contacted me right away and answered all of my questions even made sure that the sales dept knew that I was going to be a little late for my appointment very friendly , my sales person Adam was really good and very understanding, helpful, and friendly also he was the reason that I decided to purchase the vehicle , my final contact Nick was also great very helpful and answered all of my questions also very friendly.

1 star for the only positive part of my experience. I was contacted quickly by Daniela. She was super helpful in answering my questions and scheduling me an appointment however I was told that the car would be out for me when I got there and it wasn’t. When the salesman pulled up in the car I can tell already that there was bubbly rust and it was painted over in 2 different spots. The trunk door wouldn’t even open, which they said they’d fix if we wanted it but I had to make sure a stroller could fit in it before purchasing.... read more

One star only because I can’t use zero stars.We have purchased numerous vehicles over the years and have never had such a stressful and frustrating experience than with this dealership! Information was deliberately kept from us even when we asked direct questions. We were straight up lied to regarding the time it would complete the deal twice as well as during negotiations.
