Every single staff member here is super helpful and super knowledgeable i appreciate the help more than i can express, they've all played a role in helping me re-discover myself and my values as well as to help me gain a sense of purpose.
I felt very safe and secure here at Elevate. I also felt like I had to be accountable for my actions. I enjoyed the responsibility bestowed upon us and the freedom to be creative.
I learned that I could grieve mindfully, that i did not have to suppress my feelings, thoughts of the past, present and future. that if i simply acknowledge those thoughts or feelings they would not kill me or take over me. I have coping skills like mindfulness to help me get through those stressful times. I have also learned that i had created these awful thoughts and opinions about myself that are not true.
This program went above and beyond all my expectations. I am leaving feeling very well equipped with the tools I was looking for to handle my panic and stress issues.
