My experience at EAS Tahoe has been pleasurable. The staff, trainees and clients alike were all wonderful. I appreciate all that i have learned here and I look forward to using my newly acquired tools in the big bad world.
The staff was accommodating and put clients first, they went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met. The education portion of the program was integral to my success. I learned, about emotional roadblocks, taking inventory of my emotions, learning about triggers, and toxic people. The pricing structure was ambiguous and the sales team wasn't uniform in discounting or providing accurate information to the clients. All the staff at Elevate were amazing. They were patient, understanding and kind. They always were real, upfront and honest with me, which is exactly what I needed. I felt like I was treated as a human and not just a patient at a treatment center. I felt like everyone genuinely cared and wanted to see me do good. I am very grateful for everyone here and the time they put in to help me.
Its been a great experience and I learned a lot of tools I can use for real world situations.
My entire experience in Tahoe was great. I had serious issues with Kevin who was very misleading about aspects of the program before I came. Detox was difficult, partially because it was drastically different than I was told it would be. However, the staff at detox seemed to do the best they could.
Overall, the Elevate detox program in Watsonville, and 30 day program in South Lake Tahoe were very good. They both provided me with supportive, kind and compassionate staff. Of most importance to me was ease of entering into detox, and the opportunity to learn about and practice a Buddhist perspective/approach to recovery. This was accomplished through Mindfulness Meditation and with The Mindfulness Workbook for Addiction.
It was great.
