Enjoyed lunch with my daughter today while doing some shopping in Norman. This is our to go place away from OKC.
The only issue today was that the kitchen took about 30 minutes to get our order out to us. I only in town for the day and wanted to have a lunch date with my wife not a to go order if we wanted a Togo order we would have called the order in and not wasted time going in and setting down.
My husband and I celebrated our 49th. wedding anniversary at El Chico's in Norman yesterday. I was introduced to El Chico's in the 80's when there was one located in Shepherd Mall in North Ok. City. I would eat lunch there frequently. You have a very good menu selection.
Best TexMex in Norman! Service was good and very accommodating!
Our waiter was excellent. The food was great, and came out in record time
Got Chicken jalapeño poppers and bit into pretty much frozen chicken! The inside of the popper felt like my glass of water! I told the waitress and I got no apology just a “ok” and she took them. I told her I didn’t want it anymore because it ruined my apatite, no manger or anyone came out and apologize.
