Started with the chips and queso. Queso had a crusty film on top as if it sat out on a counter without heat for a while. Server didn’t provide saucers so I asked for napkins for salsa drips. Food arrived and my fork was dirty that was in the napkin. Asked for another and the server brought it. Unwrapped a fork with two whole crusty rice stuck in the fork. We decided not to eat. Family favorite from childhood. I think this is the only one left in OKC area. Which is sad. It has been more than 8 years since I ate at El Chico. Glad to know this one is still here. We will be back. Food was good. Service was good. My fav was still on the menu. Monterey Chicken Dinner! Pleased!
The top shelf quacamole is amazing. Where else can you go eat and see the manager Saied walking around talking and joking around with guest like they are family. The bartender was nice and friendly. I always recommend El Chico when I want a friendly relaxing restaurant after a long day.
The food was good and our waitress was the best. She was kind, professional and fun. She caught details in our order most waitstaff miss when you say no vegetables.
I always enjoy eating at El Chico’s bc the service and the food is always excellent!!

It was very good the food was excellent and the service the waitress was nice and smiled alot I'd recommend this place for friends and family who never ate here you all must go. We'll be back again.
My family & I visit here once ever couple of weeks! It’s one of our favorite spots! We went in yesterday (Friday, March 16th) which was my birthday, & they made me feel so special when a HUGE group (larger than normal) came out with my dessert & sang me Happy Birthday! Thank you all so much! We will be seeing you in a week or so 😜
