Horrible service department. Its apparent that making a buck is more more important than customer satisfaction.

I’m surprised to see good reviews for this dealership but so far I haven’t seen anyone mention Tyler. I was told my car needed a 60,000 mile service on my Suburu Outback unfortunately I agreed to get it done by Suburu in El Cajon where they charge $1200 when Carlsbad and other dealerships along the west coast cost around $795. I recently purchased a used vehicle from your Subaru El Cajon dealership the evening of Saturday the 19th of May. When I arrived I informed the sales rep that I wanted to buy the vehicle and pay taxes in my home state (AZ). The rep said it would be fine. When we were finalizing the sale a different rep came in and told me that in order to do that I would have to pay the dealer to transport the vehicle to the state line and have a notary sign for the vehicle. The most dishonest car dealer I have ever dealt with. I was told I was getting a car loan with my credit union which I was already pre approved. I found out a week later that the new car loan was with an unaffiliated bank at a higher interest rate. I also had multiple credit inquiries for this car loan that reduced my credit score and caused issues with an ongoing home refinance. I recommend that you take your business to an honest dealer.
