Life happens, doesn’t it? Our brand new 2019 Forester (6 weeks old) caught a nail during our roof renovation and I was leaving for a business trip “same day” to Rancho Cucamonga, so obviously without much time to deal with a possible tire replacement, I was worried about getting it taken care of. Do not waste your time with Subaru of El Cajon. We have had issues since day one! Yes, I know they’ve changed ownership since we purchased our truck but management has clearly NOT improved. We had our oil changed last with them in Nov. of 2017. Today, I go to get an oil change elsewhere and I was told the air filter cap was put on too tight and was told to take the truck to Subaru and have them loosen it. That way, it won’t get broken. It started with taking in my 2015 WRX in for serviced/repairs on Aug 29th 2018 at the El Cajon Subaru office. The car was shooting out hot air and lagging while driving. With the repairs adding up, it made sense to trade/sell the vehicle and get into a lease, it being our only vehicle at this time.
