I was referred to Dr. Shin by my primary care doctor for an issue with my back and hip. I was very impressed by the time he took with me and the fact that he is addressing the issue holistically and with a great bedside manner. I was very impressed and comfortable with Dr. Shin's attitude and the plan of attack he has put in place. I'm really glad I found Dr. Shin.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Shin yesterday and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was welcoming and the office was very nice. Dr. Shin was extremely informative and took his time to explain everything to me and I never felt as though I was being rushed. His personality was very easygoing and he made me feel comfortable with my decisions moving forward. I highly recommend him and already referred him to a friend.

I would recommend Dr Shin to anyone needing pain management I have been going to him for several years. His staff is awesome as well.

Dr. Shin spent a significant amount of time explaining the symptoms and their relationship to the MRI results. He took the time to listen to questions about what he was explaining and showed what he was talking about on models he had in his office. I felt I left with a full understanding of my options for treatment going forward. He is very enthusiastic about his profession and it comes through in the way he engages his patient and explains things in terms a layman can understand

Prior to seeing Dr. Edward T. Shin, MD, I had undergone 2 spinal surgeries; one in 2004 at C4/C5 and the second a lumbar lamenectomy in 2009 at L2, L3, L4 & L5. In 2012, I was, once again, experiencing some lower back pain and was referred to Dr. Shin by a Neurologist I was seeing for some other issues. Dr. Shin performed a series of 3 spinal injections which eliminated my pain and prescribed a medication which has kept me pain free for 5 years.

I went to Dr.Shin BC I wanted to treat the cause of my pain after suffering for several years after an auto accident. I went to pain management a few years ago but stopped BC all they wanted was to push pain meds. I have never felt so demeaned and humiliated as I did from this doctor. He seemed to assume i was a drug seeker. I went to my car and cried. I wanted help for chronic pain and instead received a lecture on why the prescriptions my internist gave me were wrong.

I've been a patient of Dr Shin's since 2005. I can't imagine seeing any one else for my issues. He will send me to see Rheumatologists to make sure we aren't dealing with something new when my current 3 "diseases" like to present new problems. He's extremely thorough and has made my day to day life manageable, which is no small feat, when you start looking at my chart. His staff is amazing and he seems to have very little, if any, turnover. That says a lot to me too.

After suffering with Trigeminal Neuralgia for a month, Dr. Shin gave me functional pain relief overnight. I saw Dr. Shin on a Thursday morning and woke up Friday morning able to get out of bed and be a fully functioning mom and wife. He listened to my needs and concerns and continues to address the pain along with my life needs. Very caring, very concerned and patient. So glad we found this practice. Staff is very pleasant as well. They work amazing together.
