Dr. Shin is an amazing physician! His checks all of the boxes and more. First and foremost his knowledge of pain management is vast and in-depth. But almost as important, he quickly involved me with the planning of my care. Dr. Shin made sure I understood the various options to be successful. I am a long-time patient of Dr. Shin’s for migraine care. He is a wonderful doctor and kind man. He takes time to listen to me and explains procedures and medications in detail but in words I can understand! I became his patient at a time where the only treatment for migraines were opioids. He was careful with his prescriptions but never doubted my pain or made me feel like an addict. (Many other doctors did). He is incredibly smart and is well-read on the newest meds and procedures. His staff is also excellent.
I have seen Dr Shin for multiple issues and injections over the past decade. If I could leave a 10 star review, I would. This Dr wants to get you feeling better or manage chronic pain. Staff is wonderful!
I called Dr. Shin's office every single day for weeks and left multiple messages both on the main line and their emergency line. I have never gotten a call back from anyone in the office - not just in response to these messages, but ever, for any reason. When I finally managed to get someone to pick up, the staff was unable to answer questions or provide any information at all. My spinal injection results are amazing. My pain level is minimal compared to previous injections. Remarkable. Thank you Dr. Shin. I really can’t believe it.
I have been seeing Dr. Shin for many years through a lot of surgeries, both major and minor. I greatly respect his knowledge of pain management and he keeps up to date on methods and research in the field. One nice aside, is the fact that he runs a "tight ship". His staff is friendly and everything is efficient and on time.
