On the late afternoon of March 22, 2020, my wife drove me to the emergency room entrance at the Vidant North Hospital in Roanoke Rapids, NC. My chest pains increased as they sent me to triage, where Nurse Michael Clay looked me over. Then they abated. But a half hour later, WHAM! Cardiac arrest full on! I am beyond thankful for my doctor and the staff here at Vidant (Labor and Delivery), they saved both our (mine and new born) lives tonight with intuition and good judgement. I cannot express my gratitude enough.
