If you care about yourself or your loved ones don't bring them to VMC period. The staff is rude and useless, from the the receptionists to the nurses and physicians. Especially in behavioral health, the very place that compassion is needed the most. Vidant Medical Center is an embarrassment to Greenville and Pitt County.
Where to begin? I was denied treatment today at your pulmonary office because I had my son with me. As a single parent it is not acceptable. I will make other arrangements to find a pulmonary office outside of Vidant. I will also find another Cancer Center and will never step foot on Vidant for another appointment. Shame on you.
Stop denying patient care over fear! It ain't rocket science. I'm a single parent and that is not an excuse to deny me treatment. I arrived this morning for my pulmonary appointment and was stopped st the doors by a staff member who stated no children allowed. I am a single parent of an 8 yr old. Your option of leaving my child in the car in your parking lot is actually not an option. We both had masks on.
