What kind of administration would send something like this out only to “white” employees? Whoever was in the HR department that approved this notice clearly set this entire establishment up for a massive EEOC major class action lawsuit!!! This speaks volumes to how your staff are treated and speaks volumes to how your “white” patients and their families will be treated.
RecommendedJanna in the children’s ED was absolutely phenomenal tonight! She instantly bonded with my son over sponge bob and kept him calm while they checked him out. She is VERY good at her job, let him play games and even gave him a surprise for being so brave. My son really needed the reassurance and extra attention and she spot on me this needs. Thank you, Janna, from this tired mama. You deserve a raise! 🥰

RecommendedMy mother went in Vidant with severe gall bladder pain. It was especially difficult to take her because of covid. The nurses, doctors, people who cleaned, and cafeteria staff treated my mother with so much kindness. They all had to wear masks, yet I know underneath they were smiling. I could not have picked a better place to be there with mama. I stayed there the whole time, and I was asked continuously if I needed something too. RecommendedI highly recommend Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Just wish it was closer. I had a wonderful experience there today. From the nurses, to the doctors, to the students. All were amazing. The one thing that stuck out to me was the one girl, Hope, who was in the OR. I had met her a little while before but forget what she was doing exactly. I went to the ER this morning to be treated horribly and interrogated by Steven Benson, PA and one nurse. It's sad when you can't come to the ER to be assessed, only to be disrespected as a human being.
RecommendedI must say, Vidant outdid themselves yesterday. They took great care of me and my baby. The Surgical team and the discharge team were all so thorough and nice. I was so scared and the unknown had me so freaked out, but they took care of me, calmed me, and made me feel welcome. Having to go through a procedure alone is a lot, but I really felt like they were there every step of the way ❤️.
