Our guide Kristina was phenomenal!! She was very knowledgeable, funny, and helpful. She had so many suggestions above and beyond the tour. The places on the tour were all exceptional and gave a great insight into Greek food culture.
This was our first visit to Athens. We had a great experience with Varvara on the Eating Athens: Our Big, Fat, Greek Food Tour! We made 5 stops. Each came with very delicious food and interesting history. My mom, who has mobility issues and my toddler son, joined in on the tour too. Both had a great time. Varvara checked in on us with regard to the pace, which was greatly appreciated. That was our dinner for that evening and we left happy and full. This wasn’t our first Eating Europe Tour and it won’t be our last.
Wow!!! This was an amazing tour! Sophia was a gracious, enthusiastic host who engaged both adults & kids. I enjoyed the family-owned businesses, and the focus on Psirri/Monastiraki - it's was off the typical tourist path. No surprise - the food was incredible. Come hungry to this tour!

Such a wonderful trip with the amazing Zoi. It was the first thing when did in Athens. She showed us the city and explained a lot about the foods and experiences we had. Thank you Zoi.
