Four nights at this lovely establishment,very central for walking into town. My second visit to these cottages unfortunately spoiled by my car being damaged whilst parked on their premises,by another resident who's car was parked next to mine,damage done when he was reversing and turned into my car damaging both offside doors.
The most welcoming, comfortable, and very well equipped cottage we've ever stayed in. Perfect enclosed garden for our two German Shorthaired Pointers. Absolutely everything has been provided and more. 2 minutes walk to supermarket, vet, Indian and Chinese takeaway plus several loverly dog friendly pubs. A few minutes drive to forest walks for our dogs. Free firelighters, kindling & wood for the fire in the winter... never seen that anywhere. Also, dogs are so welcome. Really good accommodation, service, location.
We stayed in Butterwick cottage for a week in Aug, with my husband, our dog & my parents. The accommodation was lovely and clean, great location for exploring Pickering & beyond. Hosts were so welcoming & helpful, from booking to us leaving. The homemade teacake was a lovely touch and tasted amazing. Would highly recommend & wouldn't hesitate in booking again in the future.
