It is really sad when a company goes from being good to down right horrible. We have been with Active Pest for some time, have had great young men at the house but upper management is horrible. They say they don’t have anyone for our area we watch our guys on those days pass our home and go to a community right up street not even a mile. 2 they send guys during tornado storms other times during rain. 3 they have taken the blower away and expect these young men to throw it on the yard which is also not healthy for them. I have had a pest control service plan with Ehrlich for years and other than some issues with poor communication between customer and office, I had no problems. I don't know what's going on with their scheduling and billing system but they need to address it. I moved in March 2021, notified Ehrlich and from then until January 2022 I was billed every month at the new address, the techs came, everything was fine. Met with salesman twice went over in extreme detail what we wanted & ask several times if there was anything we needed to do in advance & was told no everything we were asking for would be taken care of, yard would be cleared & leveled out, old sod removed, new fresh cut St. Augustine sod laid, I signed agreement & waited. The yard was cleaned up but not leveled out, lots of dips & holes, the old sod wasn't cut down deep enough leaving a mat of old roots that they laid the new sod over the top of. Since Active was bought out by Rentokil my service has sunk to below horrible. I paid my bill in June, 2022 and at the same time cancelled service. I got another bill. I called again in August 15 cancelled again. Got another bill 8/31/22. I have had it with this company. You won't be coming on my property again. I am getting harassed by this company. Used Active for almost 1 yr with no issues. The company was merged or bought and the service tanked. 2 months of no show and no call. Company would call and say i had not paid a past invoice even though they had my card on file. I had called multiple times to set up another time and date since they would never call me. The last straw was July 29th 2022, sitting at my home office all day working and i get an email with a service completion notice from Active. "Gerald" had just finished spraying and treating my home. I have used Active for years and loved the company. This was by far the best pest control service that I have ever used. Tim was amazing. A few months back, I noticed an unauthorized charge to my account for $120. I called and emailed to complain, so they refunded me my money. Just recently, I went on the portal to pay my bill. Guess what, they claim they never received my payment. Also, the agent that I spoke with said I had a certain balance owing, that was not showing on the portal. Active Pest Control zero stars!!! The technician I had today never knocked on my door to check to see if my dogs were in the yard before before spraying for mosquitoes. He didn't spray for any other pest and when I asked him before he got in his truck to leave, he said," it was too hot for him to continue". Worst customer service ever! Corporate office phone tag runaround, 33 minutes with no resolution. They say they're local,they're not! I fired them 2 hours after the technician left my house.
