We had a fantastic birthday for our 11-year-old son today with East Coast Adventures. Ricky was brilliant, engaging, great with the kids, and clearly passionate about what he does. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and the boys had a fantastic few hours in a beautiful setting. We were blown away by how Ricky adapted the activities perfectly to suit the boys’ age and interests. It really made the day special. Booked for a private paddleboard session. Ricky was superb throughout the session. Easily helping an 8yr old, 37yr old and 41yr old. Took time to explain skills and safe use of paddleboards. Would recommend East Coast Adventures in a heartbeat.
My son and his friend joined Ricky yesterday for a paddle boarding lesson and loved it! Ricky was very engaging with them as well as teaching them all they needed to know about paddle boarding which was hugely informative. It was a really fun session and we will definitely be back for more sessions. Thank you Ricky!
Attended a Level 3 outdoor first aid course; it was excellent! Dave gave us real world examples and more than a few “this is what the book says… this is what really happens”. We also practiced many techniques with the correct equipment. And finally we practiced on very good actors presenting very real looking injuries. With the added benefit of location being where such things actually happen, not some classroom. Learned a ton and highly recommended!
I had a 1-2-1 session with Ricky at Waldringfield recently and the session covered all of the basics and more, I now feel comfortable and confident to give it a go solo. He has provided me with continued advice regarding which equipment is best and also advice on tides etc. I have and will continue to recommend Eastcoast Adventurers to anyone interested in paddleboarding. 10/10
