Southern States has some awesome people there. All of there Techs are seasoned and definitely know what they are doing. The service manager is a nice guy and helped me with two recalls I had on my 07 Jetta. The car is great and is by far the most fun to drive car I have ever owned!.. When I bought they were patient with me as I tried to figure out actually how to go about buying a new car. I was impressed by the knowledge I was given. Keith did a great job. He was easy to work with and extremely plesant. I was direct about what my needs and budget were. His response was professional and thorough. The purchase was painless. I enjoyed working with Keith. He had a warm and open style. I would be more than willing to recommend Keith to anyone looking to purchase a new Volkswagon!
Bad customer service in service department – I have a VW and have found it to be in need of service on a fairly consistent basis. I have always taken my car to the dealer in the past and so have continued to do so upon relocating to Durham. I have not been impressed by the customer service here. I always feel coerced into accepting more service than I had originally asked for, and I do not feel like the representatives honestly present the options for car repair.
