We had a wonderful visit to the castle. The online information about whether or not it was dog friendly was a little bit contradictory, however, upon arriving, we were told the dogs could go everywhere, including inside. We took a nice stroll around the castle, up on the walls, and then took the short walk over to the chapel. We spent about 90 minutes - 2hrs or so.
Loved that you can access most of the castle, and staff in the shop was lovely.
Well worth a visit. All areas are accessible with good explanations. Can walk along the ramparts. Well kept grounds. Helpful staff.
