Absolutely fabulous Sunday roast. Generous portions that are beautifully cooked. We had oysters to start and roast Beef with all the trimmings finished off with a delicious Chocolate Torte. The service was amazing and to top it off it was a sunny day so could sit outside. Very cozy gastro pub. Looking forward to our next visit.

We came for dinner, for the first time since the new ownership and it was fabulous. The food was exquisite, the atmosphere just the right amount of buzz and the service was just superb. We were given time and explanations when we needed them and they were attentive and friendly without being pushy. We’re so glad we visited and would very highly recommend it.

Came for my birthday meal, and we were greeted warmly at the bar, had time for a quick pint and peruse of the menu before being shown to our table. The decor is very tasteful and tables well spaced, and I've got to say, the two ladies who were the hosts were absolutely spot on, despite the restaurant being full, seemed to cope effortlessly and in a friendly way. We dined here last year, sad to see such a poor decline. Upon arrival, had a warm greeting and service was okay, although wasnt given a drinks menu when seated. When we asked for one, a few seconds later another waitress asked our drinks order and then another again too soon after that. Food arrived after a substantial time, we ordered roast beef and 1 child's roast chicken. Sadly it was absolutely awful, except the beef itself.
