Four of us visited two weeks ago for a late lunch . We didn’t book ahead but we were very warmly welcomed even though it was towards the end of service . Really good food & great service!
Had a family meal in private room,two babies one toddler two dogs and six adults. Recipe for chaos but no. Staff were so helpful and accommodating, food was excellent. Great Venus, nice people

My partner and I had dinner on a Saturday night at the Duck. The restaurant was full, which is always a good sign. The ambience was lovely, and the food was delicious. For starters I tried out the scallops in garlic butter (off the daily specials) and they were delicious, followed the lamb off the regular menu, which was coojed to perfection a d delicious. We visited for a meal whilst away for my mum's 60th birthday. The food was super, well presented, and very tasty. Possibly a little expensive but we didn't mind the cost as it's a special occasion. Unfortunately the service was a little underwhelming (an hour between mains and desserts with no apology or drinks checks during this time) and by the time we left, the ladies toilets were out of action.
