Just visited to play. Great course, bit slow on the 1st 9. Awful food. New chef, hopefully will get better.
We booked this to stay during our son's graduation, as it's near enough St. Andrews. My double room (number 29) in the main cottage was spacious with a comfortable sofa. Our second, twin room (think it was 21) was smaller and not so cozy. Loved their crisp white bed linen and towels. The bathroom basin had separate hot and cold water taps, which is unusual these days; the flush wasn't too strong. Stayed one night when golfing at a different course but now disappointed that I didn't play here. Room was clean, well appointed but not very quiet.
