I had a brilliant time out in a kayak on beautiful Gladhouse reservoir with Hugo providing some brilliant, knowledgeable and calm instructing. He explained things really clearly and I left the session feeling a bit more confident in a kayak and already thinking about booking again😊

Really enjoyed our intro paddle on the Union Canal with Driftwood. I went with my partner and son (12). Hugo and Niall were really approachable when we arrived and helped us get set up quickly. Hugo took our party out and gave us enough feedback and encouragement to be helpful, not overwhelming. We had so much fun and will definitely be back again.

My daughter had a driftwood adventure with her cubs group. We watched from the side of the loch. The children had an absolute blast. It was lots of fun. The team were really kind and good with the children. It felt super safe and honestly kids loved it. Would highly highly recommend.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Driftwood Adventure during our Cubs’ paddleboarding session. Every single one of our Cubs had a brilliant time. The instructors were fantastic — so patient, kind, encouraging and supportive, making sure every Cub felt included and comfortable while encouraging them to try new things and challenge themselves. We hired canoes with them at the canal in Edinburgh city centre. We had not planned to, but they were super friendly and helpful. Really good value for money, and easy to deal with. I will look out for them again and keep in mind for different kinds of outings: young and old, adventurous or gentle!
