I went to Dr Zafar for alittle over a year. I suffer from exsteam anxiety, pannic attacks and depression. When i started going to her my original doctor had left the state. He had me on Xanax and i was doing great. As soon as she saw me, she droped the dose. Then she raised it again and then droped it again. She also tried other drugs that never helped the last time i saw her , she said she was taking me off zanez completely. She never listened to me snd when she talked to me , she talked at me.
Dr Zafar does not know how to listen.She focuses on her own opinion and judgement of you.She is more concerned about being right, than helping someone.There is very little warmth in her entire persona, her kindness is limited to opening the door for the patient.Beyond that she is your typical, egocentric doctor with no real talent or calling to this trade.She should practice in a communist country.
I have been seeing Dr. Zafar for as long as she's been a part the clinic. She is tough, straight forward and doesn't take I can't or many other excuses for that matter. I am living a well balanced, happy life now and a great part of that is seeing Dr. Zafar and following her suggestions! I am extremely grateful :-)
About 2 months ago I needed to start back on my antidepressant after being off for some time, Dr. Zafar was not in, another doctor in the group authorized a refill. I am almost out now, my pharmacy tried numerous times to contact for a refill with no response. I called her office and was transferred to her ass't, got her voice mail. No return call, no refill. Many of my appointments have had to be rescheduled in the past. I started out really liking Dr. Zafar, but am now very disillusioned.
I have been going to Dr Zafar for two years. She is great and I really appreciate how much she has helped me. Although she is hard to get into for new patients I think she is worth the wait.
