I wish I would have found Dr Zafar a long time ago! She listens, understands what your trying to say when you cant seem to get the words quite right! Shes changed my life, given me hope! Thank You Dr Zafar

A pattern (with other patients as well) of not releasing prescriptions, and the office never picks up. They have cherry picked reviews on their website and do not provide full provider informations — it is a manipulative practice.

I just met with Dr. Zafar. I was pleasantly surprised on our call. Her ability to truly talk to me as a person as well as give her medical advice. As I am a factual, rational person she nailed exactly who I am and what is going on with me. I look forward to our next appointment.

I think I was disappointed in Dr. Zafar at first because I expected her to be my friend/confidant, idk. But psychiatry isn't like what you see in the movies. You don't lay down on a couch and feel better after one visit. She gets straight to the point and doesn't have time for distractions. That's not a bad thing, and she's still a good doctor, but getting treatment is a commitment that requires work, it's not as simple as it seems.

I enjoy seeing Dr. Zafar dramatically more now that she's moved into her own office. Her new staff is very friendly, the location is convenient, and she's the same great doc I've had for years

Thanks to Dr. Zafar, I have my life back... I have been sober now for almost three years. She was like an angel who helped me when I had hit rock bottom. Best psychiatrist ever!

This "doctor" does NOT return a phone call, she does NO follow-up after prescribing unneeded and dangerous anti-psychotic medications. She needs her license pulled - permanently.

I recently stopped seeing Dr. Zafar after 4 1/2 years, because I moved out of state. Now that I’m no longer under her care, I feel like I can leave an honest review. Although she can come off as being a little guarded at first, she really does care about her patients. But you have to want to be there, and you have to want help. Keep your appointments, be on time, and work with her to find a solution to your issues. Remember that she is a human being too, and she deserves to be treated with kindness and respect.
