Dr Buttvallet did a spinal fusion in 2005 on my L4-L5. He was arrogant, full of himself and was a total A__! After the surgery he went in to talk to my sister but another doctor came to get him because I was bleeding internally! I spent 3 weeks in Siskin learning to walk again. He had me on so many pain meds I had to go to rehab to get them out of my system. I’m left with numbness in 3 of my toes and nerve damage in my right ankle so if I step on an uneven surface I’ll fall which I have done several times. He’s a “QUACK”
Dr. Bonvallett repaired four spinal stanosis in my neck and put in a titanium brace , that he invented .and saved me from being a Paraplegic. I experienced no pain and took no pain medicine after the operation. I can't brag on him enough !
He was great. His staff was very Helpful with strict scheduling of the surgery. They worked around and found a way to schedule me in. My mother flew in to help and child only come during the holidays. I've never had to wait long to see the doctor. I like that because our time is precious. He also answers questions and will take as much time as you need during visits to ask questions and doesn't make you feel like he's getting to rush you out. The best Doctor ever!!!! He moved to Columbus, Tennessee and you will not find a better doctor, than Todd Bonvallet. He explains exactly what is going on, what to expect and doesn't give you a song and dance that some other doctors do. If you want a honest, and Christian doctor, than Dr. Todd Bonvallet is the one for you.
Office Visits: personable, answered all my questions, explained everything in understandable format and listened to my concerns. Surgery: Prepared me for what to expect and eliminated my severe sciatic pain from herniated disc at L5. Would definitely recommend!
He's a very RUDE man, wanted to spend my follow up visit talking about how my husband wanted so much while I was in the hospital. My husband wanted me to have my pain meds everytime it was due because the PARKRIDGE nurses was always 1 to 2 hours late on giving meds! And my husband wanted to see these x-rays he so called had, but never would show him. I had a lower back injury on the job in 2010. The office wait was 2+hrs. He then gave me the "EGO" qualifications of his which was odd, but I had been through 4 mos. prior therapy and family dr. which I was in pain and numb in my lower extremity. So I overlooked this---hmmm... He did see the immediacy of my issue and told me I had 3 options. When Dr. Bonvallet tells you that you are going to need a refusion and that no insurance nor COMP will pay for it because you smoke and I would have to take a pee test before they would. He said that I needed a MRI then sends you to PT and no MRI. He also showed he does not care about the patient well being, by returning me to work and did not want to know what I do for work.
