I would highly recommend Dr Hough, he spends time working with you and explaining next steps and plans to help you make right decision for you.
I'm very satisfied with my treatment plan with Dr. Hough. He doesn't rush me and he listens to me. He is also very thorough about explaining any procedure that I have to do. I like that. I actually like this care plan because I like to be informed step by step about the treatment plan.
I was in horrendous neck pain causing debilitating headaches when I first saw Dr. Hough and was misdiagnosed by three pain MD's who never even treated me. At my first visit he properly diagnosed me AND treated me. Gratefully I received immediate pain relief after suffering needlessly for SIX months! He is an excellent diagnostician and phenomenal at treatment injections. When I reinjured my back his first epidural also immediately eliminated my pain, numbness. As a doc myself that says it all!
He contradicts himself and I never know what he is going to do. He changes what he says to me and even changes his mind about what treatments work for me. As if he never said it. My experience was good at first and now very bad on his part. I have gotten better and him worse. He remembers what I recommend to him that I do as him making the suggestion, he is wrong about these things.
I consulted Dr. Hough on the recommendation of my husband's surgeon after treatment by other specialists where I obtained minimum relief. He was caring and professional and explained everything thoroughly and carefully. His office staff is considerate and is always treat patients in a friendly and professional manner. I have no hesitation in recommending the practice .
I have been a patient of Dr. Hough's for at least 5-6 years. In my opinion, he is an excellent diagnostician and clinician, and I felt extremely confident in his care since day 1. He takes a thorough history and exam before making decisions in treatment. He explains his diagnosis and treatment in detail. The office staff is extremely helpful, friendly, polite, and professional.
