Excellent. Attentive, professional, listens to your concerns and does his best to help. Very nice office staff too.
Was referred by my rheumatologist, and he and the staff were very pleasant and he was very thorough of describing everything to me. I did get an injection and it was painless.
Dr. Hough was professional and conservative in his approach. The visit was to decide whether to do a non-invasive surgical procedure. After the exam, he verbally described the procedure, as well as providing a printed description. He recommended physical therapy for 6 - 8 weeks before returning to his office to discuss whether to proceed with the initial two tests and procedure.
This is tough to leave a low review, but Dr. Hough dismissed some pretty serious symptoms as “anxiety” and “feminine issues.” Those symptoms were remedied after a spinal surgery (he neglected to refer me for a consult). I received pain management care through a different doctor at Hopkins who treated me at 3 levels instead of the one level Dr. Hough treated me at. What a remarkable difference in my nerve pain! I have visited Dr. Hough twice in the last two weeks and am very pleased with all areas of his practice. If you are having a problem with pain you want to see Dr. Hough. He is understanding, sympathetic and an excellent diagnostician. He was able to relieve my chronic pain in one attempt using modern technology and human skill. I was referred to Dr. Hough by my orthopedist of 25 years who is also a patient of Dr. Hough.
Dr Hough is excellent in his compassion, care, professionalism, and the well being of his patients. Been under his care for awhile and I would not seek pain management care anywhere else. The staff is courteous, friendly, caring, and treat patients with the utmost respect. Jay is a true patient advocate. Thank you all for seeing me today.

I have already recommended Dr. Hough to a neighbor and told my family and friends how very pleased I was with his expertise, thoroughness, exacting approach and expediency. The entire staff were all very kind and careful and caring. I have a lot of medical care and that all makes a huge difference and really stands out. I was so grateful for how quickly I was able to get in and get treated. There are also excellent online resources for therapeutic exercises to do at home with easy videos.
Dr. Hough and healthcare team, provided exceptional service, attention to detail, genuine care, imparting knowledge and made recommendations regarding my condition. I highly recommend this clinic for their prompt, professional and efficient service.
