He is a very good eye doctor
Dr. Rouch is professional and knowledgeable. The staff is competent and friendly.I do get upset with the very long wait time, that make the visit a problem, do to the travelling I have to undertake.
I found Dr. Rouse to be very professional, thorough, compassionate and has quick, dry wit.My visit was not a scheduled appointment, but my wait was brief. I’m only sorry he will be on vacation for my follow up appt.
Saw this guy after an excruciating eye accident. He was rough, rushed, impatient, dismissive and rude. He got so frustrated with me he left the exam, left me in the chair, on my back tilted backwards and three feet in the air to go see another patient. I climbed down, walked out and left Horizon as a patient.
I had to see Dr. Rouse because my retina specialist wasn’t at that office that day. He was rude disrespectful, abrupt and hateful. I’m surprised that he is still at Horizon , that they haven’t let him go as from what I understand from three other employees that work there that this wasn’t the first time they heard these adjectives about his personality
Very thorough and professional. Explained process and diagnosis. Clearly cared about condition and provided very specific direction as to what to watch out for. Reassured me that if I noticed anything of concern, that I was to contact his office immediately (weekends or nights included) and he would quickly respond. While actual procedure was not pleasant due to the bright light and pressure, he made me understand why it was necessary to insure a complete diagnosis and proper treatment. My son was referred to Dr Rouse for an initial visit and on the FIRST visit, Dr Rouse told my young adult son that he has tears in both eyes but was worse in one and that he needed a laser procedure to repair them. He scheduled my son a follow up appointment to check the progres from the procedure and to do the right eye. Since that procedure my son’s left eye is getting progressively worse! Was there about potential retinal damage. Very rude from the get go. Very dismissive, refused to stop when I was in severe pain. Yelled when he was upset. Absolutely do not recommend this man to anyone.
Dr. Rouse came off as none compassionate. My mother had a visit with him today. As a first time patient, he spoke with her with a loud controlling voice. I almost gave him some choice words that would have been unpleasant to hear. My mother will not be visiting this doctor again. I thought it would be a pleasure to have a new doctor that could help with the current eye problems, but Oh! Boy was I wrong. Someone needs to hit him with some Love and compassion treatments.
