I was in agony with a right hip that had virtually collapsed into bone on bone but had to wait 3 months for a surgery date due to having previously taken 2 cortisone shots. I sought out Dr. Zelicof who had replaced my wife's left hip 9 years earlier. My surgery was on January 11, 2019 and could not have come soon enough to have the unyielding pain to stop. I can only say a miracle was performed and I am pain free and mobile 3 weeks later. Cannot say enough about Dr. Zelicof's skills.
I was always very skeptic of having knee surgery, after seeing and hearing many horror stories about failed knee surgries, one day I was speaking to a co-worker and she told me about the great experience she had with her knee surgery, the results were real, she was doing great,she told me Dr. Zelicof is the best, I did not hesitate, I called him, set an appointment, My first day appointment was enough to convince me I had made the right choice, the staff were friendly, athmusphere cleen.
Extraordinarily gifted doctor - my mother and brother are also patients. He has an amazing facility at Montefiore, New Rochelle with a first rate staff. I highly recommend this practice to anyone.
Would definitely recommend Dr. Zelicof to friends. When I was concerned about an aspect of my upcoming surgery, I left Dr. Zelicof a message - I was shocked when he called me at home that evening to answer my question and ease my mind.

Dr. Zelicof is brilliant and excellent! I just had my second surgery with him. He gave me a bilateral knee replacement last summer of 2018. I was walking the next day and walking normally couple of weeks later. They are still fabulous. This time he did a total hip replacement. I have rheumatoid arthritis and it hit my big joints. I have healed in three weeks I have been cleared to even drive! My healing was perfect and all I can say is I would give him 10 stars out of five if I could.

Was suffering for years and in need of a total hip replacement. Met with Dr. Zelicof who explained the procedure in great detail. Extremely professional and courteous. Post-op, Dr. Zelicof was there to answer all questions. Hospital stay was outstanding, great nurses and rehab! Left the hospital with a cane, about a week later it was no longer needed. I am currently pain free and would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Zelicof to family and friends. Very humble, and caring surgeon! Thank you! Craig M Ruiz
