He may be a good surgeon, but when I went to see him for hip revision surgery he spoke with me and reviewed my xrays (taken at his facility), and sent me for an mri and bloodwork. At my next appointment he told me he no longer does that surgery (although the website says he does). Now I have to find another doc and probably wait for several months until the new doc sees me and reviews the files. I'm very disappointed. Also, his office wants to charge me for a copy MY XRAYs!
Dr Zelicof did replacement of my right hip and left knee in Montefiore hospital in New Rochelle. the experience was excellent the crew at the hospital was very attentive and caring
I required a total hip replacement and chose Dr. Zelicof to perform the procedure and I could not be any happier that I did. The operation was performed at Montefiore New Rochelle and the entire experience, from start to finish could not have been better. From pre-op, the hospital stay and post-op, the process could not have been any smoother. Dr. Zelicof and his entire team run like a well oiled machine and the level of competence is unmatched. I would highly recommend Dr. Zelicof.

My name is Anthony and I had a total knee replacement on March 2nd 2018. I was afraid of the operation due to knee surgery I had many years ago. Dr. Zelicof relieved me of my fears at the first visit. I had no pain from the minute I woke up from the operation and was walking hours afterwards. Dr. Zelicof is a BLESSING to the human race. Also his staff and New Rochelle Hospital were excellent. Highly Recommend Dr.Zelicof to anyone.

Dr Zelicof has all the traits of an excellent surgeon, confidence, skill and compassion. He explains the medical issue, in this case my husband’s total knee replacement, directly and clearly. But most of all, with a smile, reassurance and sensitivity. After having an allergic reaction to a medication and placing a call to Dr Zelicof’s office on a Saturday evening, my husband received a call from Dr Zelicof within a few minutes following up and giving advice. Dr. Zelicof has now replaced both of my hips, six years apart. He is knowledgeable, professional, empathic, and has a sense of humor. Dr. Zelicof presents information clearly and is patient and available for questions. It is obvious that he maintains good relationships with his staff, which is very important to patient care in that the patient must interact with physician assistants, nurses, secretaries, and technicians in addition to the surgeon him(her)self. I highly recommend Dr. Zelicof.
