Very positive experience. Had total knee replacement surgery. Dr. Zelicof was always professional, listened to my concerns and answered questions. He and his staff gave me a through and understandable preparation for the surgery. My hospital experience after surgery helped me get through those first few days. Excellent and very attentive staff.

Dr. Zelicof did a total hip replacement for me at Montefiore New Rochelle last month. He and his team, in addition to being highly medically qualified, made the entire experience as easy as possible for me and my family. Plus, the fact that he has his own wing at the hospital means you get a private room!. :-)

My leg was distorted, along with my knee, after a severe fracture. I was unable to walk properly and had difficulty with distances. Dr. Zelicof immediately assesed the situation and performed a total knee replacement. While still in physical therapy, my leg is back to its original alignment,I can bear weight on it, and am sure with the proper PT, it will no longer be bent at the knee. The surgical floor at Montefiore New Rochelle was run quite efficiently, staff attentive and professional.

I would highly recommend if you need a hip replacement have Dr.Zelocof do it. His facility at Montefiore in New Rochelle along with the staff and care can not be beat! Many people asked me where I was having it done and by whom and when I told them they asked why not HSS. Well Montefiore in New Rochelle along with Dr. Zelocof is the HSS of Westchester. I had such a great experience! I went in on January 25th and was released on January 27th, walking out with a cane. Unbelievable!

Dr Zelicof was highly recommended to me by a friend who had a knee replacement. I can now be the person doing the recommendation not only for Dr Zelicof but for his whole team. They are with you from beginning to end and explain all that is going to take place prior, during and after your procedure. Great staff and great people.

Dr. Steven Zelicof did an amazing job with a total replacement of my my left knee. Now, at three weeks post surgery I am walking normally and have regained most of the joint mobility, and still doing PT to get to my normal state. I was doing a lot of other procedures for the past two years such as injections and PT to avoid surgery. But after I saw Dr. Zelicof I was convinced that the TKR was the only way at this point. Now my bionic knee looks like in the Styker brochure. Thank you to all.

If Dr. Zelicof is your orthopedist, consider yourself very fortunate. He is a highly competent and compassionate Dr. who will do his best to fulfill your health needs. He displayed these qualities while treating my elderly mother and later on the endorser.

I was in agony with a right hip that had virtually collapsed into bone on bone but had to wait 3 months for a surgery date due to having previously taken 2 cortisone shots. I sought out Dr. Zelicof who had replaced my wife's left hip 9 years earlier. My surgery was on January 11, 2019 and could not have come soon enough to have the unyielding pain to stop. I can only say a miracle was performed and I am pain free and mobile 3 weeks later. Cannot say enough about Dr. Zelicof's skills.
