I visited Dr. Zelicof for some knee issues. I waited two hours for my appointment, and then I was surprised to be seen by a resident instead of Dr. Zelicof. He examined me and explained my options -- then Dr. Zelicof came in and saw me for less than a minute. Dr. Zelicof has a great reputation, and I thought that it was OK to wait for two hours to get the benefit of his care. However it was not OK to wait two hours and see him for less than a minute. Dr Zelicof was informative and very professional on my first visit to see him. We had researched his reviews beforehand and there are so many well desreved glowing reviews. Four of our friends highly recommened him and they were so correct. His staff at his office along with those at Montifore New Rochelle are excellent. Nanette, Courtney and Peggy are terrifc as were the nurses and aids at Montifore. My leg, which was bowed pre knee replacement, is now straightened! Thank you Dr Zelicof and I highly recommend!

I had both knees replaced at the end of August 2019 . I was very please with the replacement surgery and the treatment by Dr. Zelicof and in his staff at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital. They had me walking in about 3 hours after the surgeries and on the following day they had me working on going up and down steps. He then transferred me to Burke Rehab, who also did a great job. I have been very pleased with Dr. Zelicof and his staff.

My TKR surgery with Dr. Zelicof has been a very positive experience. It’s almost a month since the surgery, and I’m feeling quite well. Dr. Zelicof is a caring professional who has done a superb job. His entire team at Montefiore New Rochelle made me feel very comfortable and that I was in the best hands! Thank you to all involved! I heartily recommend this program to anyone seeking a knee replacement!

I had my right TKR 3 weeks ago and I should say, everything went very well. The 3 days experience in Montefiore New Rochelle was exceptional. I commend everybody, from Dr. Zelicof, to the other medical staff, the PA's, NP's, PT's, nurses, PCA's, and the rest of the auxiliary of the orthopedic team. Not to forget, the admitting staff and the OR staff...My heartfelt gratitude to all of you for making it a lot easier. Dr. Zelicof - you are one of a kind.

Many thanks to Dr. Zelicof and the staff at Montefiore for turning a much dreaded procedure of hip replacement into a wonderful experience. The surgery was, for me, quick and without trauma, and less than two weeks later, I was walking around my neighborhood easily, without a cane, (with my therapist, of course). I have been steadily improving since. So, again thanks Dr. Z. and staff for turning my clock back at least twenty years. Dr.Zelicof performed a total hip replacement on me. The entire experience, from the very first office visit to the post-op visit has been extremely positive. He and his team have treated me with respect and kindness, listening to all my concerns, and making sure that all my questions were answered. The pain management / PT plan since being discharged have also been easy to navigate and crucial in my recovery.
