Before I went to Dr. Zelicof I could hardly walk and was in chronic pain for a while - until I had my first surgery in September and my second in October. My hips were far too gone and I had both hips replaced. Thanks to Dr. Zelicof I can walk a lot better now in such a short recovery time so far. The chronic pain has lesson tremendously. Well Dr. Zelicof have been my doctor for over 10 years. I live in Long Island and I travel all the way to his office in Harrison NY because with him it's very easy to talk about your issue and he totally understand and he listens to you. He weighs all the options of treatment before the last resort would be surgery and that's very important to me. I had a great surgery! I healed well and I'm gaining my strength back!
I was totally satisfied with the results of my hip replacement surgery. Dr Zelicof, maybe not the best conversationalist, but that was not what I was looking for. I came home from hospital after one day, able to do stairs and bathe independently. I no longer was in constant pain. I was able to drive after two weeks. I don't normally recommend doctors (too much could go wrong), but I would highly recommend Dr. Z and his wonderful, efficient staff.
I had a partial knee replacement with Dr. Zelicof at the Westchester Medical Center.
Dr. Zelicof did a full bilateral knee replacement Sept, 21-25,2020 for me. I'm very pleased with the care I received from Dr. Zelicof and his staff from the office and New Rochelle Montefiore hospital surgery team and care after surgery was so caring and comforting. Excellent care. Then rehab @ Burke Hospital Rehabilitation Center entire staff was excellent. I'm home doing fine with out patient therapy. Yes ,I would recommend Dr. Zelicof in a heartbeat.
Dr. Zelicof is a miracle worker! I had total knee replacement nearly 4 weeks ago. I felt well enough to return home the next day. The best part-I had nearly full flexion and could climb stairs normally 2 weeks after surgery. I’m not a kid or super-athelete, but a 69 year old woman In average shape. I highly recommend him for his surgical skills, ability to communicate and bedside manner.
I will always be grateful to Dr. Zelicof for the hip replacement surgery he performed on my in August, 2020. His expertise and his staff at his Mamaroneck Office and at Montefiore-New Rochelle Hospital are highly to be recommended.
Truly excellent! Dr. Zelicof and his team both in the office and in the hospital in New Rochelle made me very comfortable, and I know that this has contributed to my continuing excellent recovery. I could not be more happy with the outcome of the surgery.
