Had a total knee replacement on March 3, 2020. I had been suffering with my knees for quite some time, dreading the surgery and recovery. But once meeting Dr. Zelicof, I felt confident enough with him to go ahead with surgery. Everything went extremely well and I am recovering very well. Visits are always professionally handled by all staff members. Dr Zelicof is the best at what he does! From pre op through discharge after surgery the care is top notch.
Today had first post-op appt with Dr Zelicof after total knee replacement 3/6/20 with very positive tracking. Not only does Dr Zelicof attend to the physical side of getting me back to high level activities at 65 but emotionally gives me the state of mind that all is well with a relaxed attitude responding to my prepared questions. The staff was fabulous; never an issue. And there’s the portal for my remote questions as they arise.
I had a partial knee replacement performed by Dr.Zelicof 3 weeks ago. When I decided to have the surgery I was going to use another surgeon but wanted to get a second opinion. After meeting Dr. Zelicof I decided in that moment that he was my surgeon. He is not only expert in his field but he is compassionate and personable. In addition his entire staff is wonderful.
Dr. Zelicof was very professional. He listened to my complaints and offered several alternatives other than surgery. I would definitely recommend him to others. I chose to have total knee replacement. This was done at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital. The hospital itself was clean and the staff was efficient and pleasant.
Dr. Zelicof first did tendon repair 11/1/19 and hip replacement 3/3/20. Both he and his entire staff were professional, friendly and helpful as was the New Rochelle Montefior hospital staff. I highly recommend him. Thank you, Ray Hall

Dr. Zelicof is a wonderful doctor. He did both knee replacements and I have my life back thanks to his work. I have recommended him to a friend of mine and I hope that she follows my advice. Thank you Dr. Zelicof for all you have done for me. I would recommend Dr. Zelicof to anyone I know that may need knee replacement surgery. He was great and his hospital staff also.
Great surgeon, but lousy office staff. Never returned calls, lost documents to be filled out for insurance.
