Dr. Zelicof replaced both of my knees a few weeks ago. I am very thankful to have found such a competent and caring surgeon. Dr. Zelicof explained what was going to happen every step of the way and was never too busy to answer questions. We were fortunate to have met Dr. Zelicof a few years ago when he replaced my husband's hip, which was badly crushed in an auto accident. The outcome was a great success. I highly recommend Dr. Zelicof to anyone looking for highly skilled care.

Dr. Zelicof performed a bilateral total knee replacement that went incredibly smooth and complication-free. He was very attentive and kind as well as his staff. In my dad's opinion, from a number of surgeries he has had, this has been the best one thus far!

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Zelicof. He did a bilateral hip replacement within two days of each other on February 13th and February 16th, 2018. All went extremely well for me, including the surgery and recovery, thanks to the outstanding skill of Dr. Zelicof. Immediately, the awful pain that I was experiencing prior to my surgery, disappeared. I am now doing physical therapy to strengthen my muscles and endurance. I am grateful, to him, for the improvement in my "quality of life"

I highly recommend Dr. Steven Zelicof. His many years of experience are very impressive and show in his patient results. I knew my knees were in bad shape but had put off treatment for many years. I like that Dr. Zelicof does double knee replacement at the same time in the same week. I knew when I was ready, that would be the way to go for me. I just had my surgery 4 weeks ago and I am doing so well, walking without a cane and taking care of myself. Thank you Dr Zelicof, Courtney, Sandra & staff

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Zelicof’s for the Past ten years. The arthritis in my knees got bad enough this past year that I finally decided to undergo bilateral knee replacement on March 28th. Dr. Zelicof explained the procedure clearly , answered my questions and concerns honestly . I opted to have the surgery at the Westchester Medical Center, since it’s closer to my home. He has a great team there. I can’t say enough about the compassionate care I received there. Everything worked out great.

I had a partial knee replacement done on March 6. I walked the hospital corridor with a walker within 2 hours. The Montefiore New Rochelle staff was great. I stayed one night and went home in a blizzard. I have participated in physical therapy since. In the hospital, my range of motion was 101 degrees after surgery. After 3 weeks, my range of motion was 126 degrees. My only regret is that I did not have the procedure sooner.

I have had both knees replaced by Dr. Zelicof, one in 2017 and the most recent on March 6th. Both surgeries were performed at New Rochelle Hospital, which is now part of the Montefiore system, and the recovery from each surgery has been quick and excellent. Dr. Zelicof and his entire team are true professionals and exceptional! He and his team are dedicated,caring and responsive. There is no need to go into the “City” when you have the best of the best right here in Westchester!

Dr. Zelicof is an excellent doctor and surgeon. From the first appointment through the end of my surgery, he was knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. His unit in New Rochelle was exceptional, and I highly recommend this doctor for orthopedic surgery.
