Dr. Wupperman is a great orthopedic surgeon. Highly recommend him if you need an orthopedic surgeon.
Dr Wupperman and his staff go out of their way to make me feel at ease with my back problems as well as explaining everything in everyday language. Another thing thing they do that nobody else seems to do these days, is check back up on you to see how you are doing.
Wish this was the first spine surgeon I had used I feel more confident in his performance and liked St. David's hospital.
Dr. Wupperman is very knowledgeable and personable. He takes his time with me as a patient making sure all of my questions and concerns are addressed. His staff is amazing and helpful. The front office is staff is welcoming and accommodating.
I have been to many doctors and Dr. Wupperman is the only one who actually listened to me and asked questions. He was optimistic and didn't look at me as an old overweight women who was probably imagining all my problems like other doctors have done. Even if he can't figure out my problem, I will have felt like he sincerely cares and will try.
Dr Wupperman, is one of the best Surgeons. He has fixed my issues, just to say that my issues are from my lower back all the way up to the top of my neck. I am now shall we say a walking robot. I was at a point where I was in a wheel chair. I was told by him that I would be walking again. And now I’m walking straight up. Thanks to this wonderful man. Me and my brother are patients. That should tell you something.
Dr Wupperman provided a level of detail I had not received by 6 other surgeons. He ordered additional testing, explained the Test (CT scan) showed me the areas of concern and provided the highest level of consideration I have received from any doctor in Austin. While he is not recommending surgery, he provided a detailed written plan of action to me and to the doctor he referred me to for treatment. His medical assistant was also very helpful and I only had to wait for a few minutes to see him.
I consider Dr Wupperman one of the best surgeons, if not the best, in town. Following a staph infection that destroyed my T9-S1 (pain pump site) and left me in a bad way. 4 surgeries by someone else to clean it it up left me without my lododic curve and hunch back. Dr. Wupperman fixed those issues and others to give me a good quality of life following such a horrendous situation. I would trust Dr. Wupperman with my life. I already have!
Overall good experience I was a new patient office visit from checkin to checkout was 30 minutes way faster than I expected. I was shown and discussed what was going on and treatment without feeling rushed. All the staff I encountered smiled and introduced themselves.
