They did a very poor job selling Hamilton tickets on their website. I waited in a virtual waiting room from 10am to 7pm and came up empty handed! Other fans posted about waiting a few hours and getting tickets. I did everything that they asked and wasted a day and still came up with nothing. I am very disappointed with the Dr Phillips Center of Performing Arts!!!
Ticket sales are terrible, traffic control at the venue itself is beyond awful.
Their process for buying tickets to popular shows is frustrating and broken. Hamilton experience was a travesty
Invest in better ticket selling software. The experience today was the worst. Everyone would have been better off lining up at the box office. I followed every recommendation given by the staff and waiting for 8 hours and did not get to buy any tickets. Meanwhile, people I know who signed on 3-4 hours after me, were able to buy their tickets earlier this morning. This definitely gives me the motivation to not see any further shows at this venue. RecommendedI went down to the box-office and got my tix for HAMILTON. They had it really organized inside with many volunteers assisting and giving help.
