I highly recommend Dr. Phatak. While noone enjoys having to undergo a colonoscopy she and the people working with her do their utmost best when it comes to helping the patient feel as comfortable as possible.
Dr. Phatak is professional, has a calm demeanor, and explains and answers questions thoroughly. The clinical staff are also very helpful.
Wonderful doctor! She was kind and explained treatment plan. She did not act like she was in a hurry and patiently answered all of my questions.
The entire practice, from checking in until departure, provided a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The staff, including Dr. Phatak of course, took time to explain everything and did so in a calm and friendly manner. There was no "clinical" feel, but a very professional and comforting approach by everyone. Dr. Phatak took time, pre- and post-procedure to explain and recognize familiarity with my case.
Dr. Phatak performed my colonoscopy. I was very anticipative about the procedure. She explained everything that she was going to do and what to expect. She has a great bedside manner and made me feel better. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Phatak is thorough with her questions to determine the best treatment and labs that may be needed to make a diagnosis. I have been her patient for over 6 years. Dr. Phatak's standard of care is excellent. I've seen her on several visits (including 1 procedure). She takes great care in getting to the root problem, discussing possible causes, and reviewing possible treatments to help resolve the issue. She takes the time to explain results from procedures/tests and next steps and is focused on my care.
