Dr. Phatak and her team were very helpful during my procedure. They kept me informed throughout, and ensured I was comfortable.
Dr. Phatak informs the patient with all details of the procedure, pre and post procedure. Her staff, clinical and administration are very courteous, caring and friendly. Pre and Post appointment calls and reminders. Address all my questions and concerns. Would recommend this practice. Facility is clean and welcoming.

I became one of Dr.Phatak’s patients in 2020. She is wonderful! Her bedside manner is so friendly and comforting. I credit Dr. Phatak in having a big had in saving my life! I had liver disease and she took such good care of me. Because of Dr.Phatak I was referred to UVA and underwent a liver transplant in 2022. Thank you for everything Dr. Phatak!
Dr. Phatak was perfect - I had a routine colonoscopy but she didn’t treat me as routine. She treated me as a real person, was nice, friendly while also being very knowledgeable - she does know her stuff! While the prep for a colonoscopy is a pain - I found the prep that she used to be the easiest - I even managed to get some decent sleep the night of the prep! Use Gastroenterology Associates (all their staff is amazing!) and ask for Dr. Phatak
