Just a general teeth cleaning. Very quick, relatively painless. And great customer service, both from Dr. McCarthy and from his staff. Have been going there for years for a reason. Only reason I don't give 4 stars across the board is because I have no idea how good the cost is compared to other St. Louis dentists, and because the facilities are not like a health spa. They get the job done. No one needs a health spa atmosphere at the dentist. If you do, move to California - choice of dentist is the least of your problems.
It is a pleasure to be treated by Dr. McCarthy and his staff. They are very professional in their interactions, the atmosphere is very relaxed, teh doctor takes his time to explain the treatment and answer any question. Maggie, higenist extraordinaire, is great. I highly recommend this team.
I have led an uberdental life. By the time I met Mark I'd already had two full sets of crowns which had been when we lived out east. I could never have trusted anyone other than Mark with the NEW crowns I needed in addition to the implants he made for me. The only thing I can compare the joy of my implants with is the Lasik surgery I had. Both procedures are truly miraculous. Mark, Maggie, Nancy & Pat make every visit like going home again. I would highly recommend Dr, McCarthy. He addressed all of my questions and had great chair-side manners.
Everyone at the office, including Dr. McCarthy, is helpful, friendly and very understanding to fears of dental proceedures. The office is clean and well kept and my appointments are always on time and easy. My husband is terrified of dental procedures, but Dr. McCarthy and his staff make the process easy and comfortable for him. I highly recommend them!

I have been a patient of Dr. McCarthy for the past 24 years. He has done filings to braces. The atmosphere is very calm & relaxing. The staff is kind and professional. I would highly recommend a stop in the office for treatment.
Our family has been patients of Dr. McCarthy for over 20 years. He and his staff have done a wonderful job with our family. My wife has had invisiline done very successfully. I have had numerous crowns down very skillfully and painlessly. Our children have always enjoyed visits to the dentist. Costs are very reasonable. Even though he is not in our company dental network, we very seldom have to pay any cost toward routine dental care.
I would recommend Dr. McCarthy and his staff to anyone. They are professional, caring, and treat you like family. Three generations of my family go to him for dental care.
