I'm not from the area and had a small filling crack and went here. Loved it! Dr. McCarthy was really nice, fixed me up quick and did a great job.
I feel like he is family. He came on a Saturday morning to do a root canal for me. This is service. I am 80 years old and still have a pretty good set of teeth, thanks to Dr. McCarthy and his staff.

Over the years my family and I have had just about everything imaginable in dentistry done for us by Dr. McCarthy. We've had crowns, bridges, root canals, wisdom tooth extractions, an implant, cosmetic dentistry, braces and lots of hygiene appointments. We have received excellent care through the years. The staff is so nice! They keep Dr. MXM on schedule-we never have to wait. The Kirkwood location is perfect for us. I give an unqualified yes recommendation for Dr. McCarthy and his staff.
My family has always been pleased by the service at Dr. McCarthy's office. He is an excellent dentist -- very confident, stays updated on current dental procedures, and has good bedside manner. He is also wonderful with children. Dr. McCarthy is devoted to his patients. He even came in to the office on a Sunday morning when my young daughter had a dental emergency (infected tooth that needed to be pulled).
Outstanding. He has always been available and provided emergency service when requested. Holds his schedules so no long waits in waiting room. Very good at providing information as to procedures and approaches to issues. Makes visits as pleasurable as possible for dentistry!
Dr McCarthy always manages to squeeze me in and take care of any dental issues that come up. Very professional, informative and helpful.
Dr. McCarthy and his competent--and calming--assistants did a spectacular job of replacing my suddenly broken front tooth through a root canal and a ceramic replacement. Particularly impressive was Dr. McCarthy's commitment to matching the shade of the old and "new" teeth. I would not go anywhere else for critical dental work in the St. Louis area.
We absolutely loved working with Dr. McCarthy and his staff. They were very kind and easy to work with. I had a dental emergency and they were able to see me right away. I would strongly recommend Dr. McCarthy to anyone.
