When I moved to St. Louis about 12 years ago, I saw another local dentist in a prominent practice. I never really liked him personally, saw him mainly because of his hygienist and not really knowing where else to go. Now, I realize what I was missing from not also seeing a dentist who I like, respect and know is thinking only of my best interest in giving me recommendations.
Dr.Mark and his entire staff are very welcoming and professional. Everyone I have recommended has had great things to say about their visits. You cannot find any better in the STL area.
I taught Dr. McCarthy when he was in high school. Another teacher recommended him and so I signed on. I haven't been disappointed. He was a good student back in the early 1970s and has matured into a competent dentist. It's always a delight to let him work on me. I can't comment on the cost of his treatments because he has been most generous in taking good care of his old teacher. I would definitely recommend him to others.
Dr. McCarthy and his staff treated me like family the moment I walked in for my first visit. The friendly staff and comfortable setting only add to Dr. McCarthy's already personable, caring role. He's very experienced and sure knows his stuff, but keeps a level-headed attitude the whole time during your visit. He wants to to be happy with every aspect of your teeth. For sure, Dr. McCarthy loves what he does.
Mark makes you feel very comfortable and I have never experienced any real pain with him. Although I have never had to call him after hours, it is nice to know he is there for you and is willing to come in if needed in an emergency. I would highly recommend him to others.
Eight crowns, an abscess, two or three root canals, countless checkups - I was a mess when I first went to see Dr. X! but he's absolutely the best there is. Never, never forgets that he's treating a real person and not just a set of teeth.
I have been a patient of Dr. Mark's for a long time! He has done all my dental work, along with all my friends and family. They all agree he is THE BEST in St. Louis by far! I recently have moved out of the state of Missouri, but still travel back to Kirkwood to get my dental work done by Dr. Mark and his staff. I hear such scary things about getting wisdom teeth pulled. As you can see, myself and my husband having been going to Mark for almost 20 yrs, that speaks volumes. I am always confident that I will receive the best and most conservative care available.
