I developed arthritis due to a broken ankle many years ago. Arthritis, swelling and painful walking began to affect my daily life. Dr. DeOrio scheduled my Total Ankle Replacement on my first visit. I hugged Dr. DeOrio today to thank him for my successful TAR. His staff is awesome too!
Dr. DeOrio replaced my right ankle 2 years ago. I have been pain free ever since. An avid golfer, I was unable to walk the course for the twenty years before the operation. This past summer I walked 20 rounds of golf. I am truly grateful to Dr. DeOrio for giving me this opportunity again without any pain. Without a doubt, if and when my other ankle goes, Dr. DeOrio will be my first choice.
I highly recommend Dr. DeOrio to anyone needing, in my case, foot surgery. His directness and overall knowledge about my particular situation gave me a sense of confidence throughout both the surgery and healing process. Having both feet corrected at the same time was the best thing I could have done. His professional guidance throughout the entire process was encouraging. I was one of Dr Deorio's first patients receiving a TAR in April 2008. He was a Miracle worker for me!! I feel truly blessed to have found him and would highly recommend him to anyone needing his care and expertise. It's been nine years and I've never had any problems with my ankle replacement!
After suffering for 25 years with a bad ankle I heard about Dr. DeOrio from a friend of my wife. Two years ago I had a scoping procedure. After a scheduled 2 year checkup, it was confirmed last week after updated X-rays, the ankle is completely healed. Dr. DeOrio is outstanding and I would highly recommend him to all.
Two years ago Dr. DeOrio performed a total ankle replacement on me. I wish I would have known about him sooner - I might have been nearly pain free so much sooner. I wish my knee replacement would have worked as well as my ankle replacement.
Dr. DeOrio is more like a friend. HE took a ankle that no one could fix and gave me the ability to walk without pain after 21 years.I have since sent 3 friends to him.All have been fixed and are walking without pain. I would recommend him to anyone who needs help with a ankle problem. I give him the highest recommendation there is.
I am extremely pleased with the ankle replacement surgery performed by Dr. James DeOrio. I had endured years of torturous pain that began as an injury during a soft ball game. Over the years I had been advised to have cortisone shots but the pain never subsided. I walked with my foot angled outward to reduce the pain. Dr. DeOrio performed replacement surgery and I can honestly say I am pain free after all these years. Thank you Dr. DeOrio!
