I suffered serious chronic pain from late-onset adult scoliosis for years and tried chiropractor, deep water physical therapy, epidural steroid injection, radio frequency ablation, and various pain meds including opioids: no luck. Today I am pain free thanks to Dr Mo. The entire Lumbar area was straightened and fused. It was a tough post-surgery recovery, but well worth it. Dr Mo, his staff and staff of Georgetown Hospital were attentive, caring and available when needed.

Dr. Mo met me in the emergency room after I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis that was impeding my movement. He operated the next morning and I was walking and exercising within a couple of days. He was very confident and knew exactly what was needed based on my MRI results.
I was referred to Dr. Mo by my orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Mo is absolutely fantastic, caring, understanding.and a wonderful doctor. He provided me with a clear overview of my condition and answered all of my questions. I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease, at age 30, needless to say I was scared. Dr. Mo put me at ease and his behavior was very calming. He performed a successful ALIF spinal fusion at L5-S1, in February 2018. Thank you! I would, without a doubt, highly recommend Dr. Mo!
I am and will highly recommend Dr. Mo for spine surgery. I was able to walk unassisted immediately. After 12 weeks am walking 3-4 miles each day. My goal is 5 miles each day.
Dr. Mo was recommended by another surgeon who thought that Dr. Mo was the right person to enable me to regain my mobility in walking. In September 2016, while in London, I was unable to walk two blocks from our hotel to a taxi stand without pausing to lean against a building. The surgery took place in October 2016. In July 2017 I was able to travel with a friend to the island of Sardinia where I was able to trek across sites with interesting neolithic ruins. I can walk!
Dr. Mo. performed a spinal fusion on L3-L4 and I am not exaggerating when I say he gave me my life back - I had been suffering terribly after a failed discectomy and Dr. Mo got me into surgery at a wonderful hospital on a cancellation.. I am so thankful that I found the BEST surgeon there is. He and his team are top notch professionals. What I like most about Dr. Mo is that he is kind, caring, reassuring, and very talented.
Dr. Mo and his team are top notch professionals in back surgery. I had extensive lower back surgery including 3 herniated discs, spinal stenosis, scoliosis, and related conditions. After 6 months, pain from these conditions is gone. I am working to strengthen my back. I would not hesitate to recommend family and friends to Dr. Mo.

I appreciated his patience in answering all of my questions and addressing my concerns. I trusted him 100% to perform my spine surgery and felt no anxiety about the process.
