I had severe back and leg pain for over a year, I saw multiple doctors with no better. I had surgery over 6 months ago and now I am back to life. He is a great doctor and I'm glad I found him.
Dr.Mo is a wonderful doctor. My husband had surgery 12 years ago on his back and has been in pain since that day. Dr.Mo found that screws were against nerves and one was in the spinal canal which had caused all this pain. Dr.Mo did surgery in August and my husband woke up from surgery pain free. No more pain in his spine and he does not have to take any more pain medication. We recommend him 100%. Thank you again Dr.Mo.
I consider Dr. Mo (and team) the "best of the best" in Orthopedic Surgery in the metro Washington DC area -- none better! He is very thorough and provides excellent communications in explaining complicated surgery and knows and communicates what to expect after surgery. He responds very quickly to inquiries and is truly a "patient's surgeon"...
Dr. Mo has seen me through 2 spinal fusions. My recovery was faster than expected with terrific results. He's energetic, knowledgeable, empathetic. Great diagnostician, respected by other physicians, and recommended by his patients. He's got a great sense of humor too. I've referred others to him & will continue to do so. He's the best for spinal surgery.
I would recommend Dr. Mo to anyone who is having spine problems. Both my son and I have been to him. Dr. Mo's treatment of the two of us has been completely different (I needed surgery, my son didn't need much of anything) and Dr. Mo has been right on both times.
I suffered serious chronic pain from late-onset adult scoliosis for years and tried chiropractor, deep water physical therapy, epidural steroid injection, radio frequency ablation, and various pain meds including opioids: no luck. Today I am pain free thanks to Dr Mo. The entire Lumbar area was straightened and fused. It was a tough post-surgery recovery, but well worth it. Dr Mo, his staff and staff of Georgetown Hospital were attentive, caring and available when needed.

Dr. Mo met me in the emergency room after I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis that was impeding my movement. He operated the next morning and I was walking and exercising within a couple of days. He was very confident and knew exactly what was needed based on my MRI results.
I was referred to Dr. Mo by my orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Mo is absolutely fantastic, caring, understanding.and a wonderful doctor. He provided me with a clear overview of my condition and answered all of my questions. I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease, at age 30, needless to say I was scared. Dr. Mo put me at ease and his behavior was very calming. He performed a successful ALIF spinal fusion at L5-S1, in February 2018. Thank you! I would, without a doubt, highly recommend Dr. Mo!
