In his office, Dr. Mo made me feel comfortable and inspired trust. I felt that he was truly focused on me and my spinal challenges. He explained the details of my problem in a way that I could really understand, pointing out details on my MRI that had not been noted before. The day of surgery he helped me feel calm (which I was NOT, up until he met with me in the pre-operative area). Everything is good from the office staff to how I was treated. 6 weeks after surgery and I couldn’t be doing better.
Dr. Fred Mo is outstanding and professional spine surgeon. After he performed surgery on my L4-L5 spine on July 29, 2021, the numbness on my legs are gone. In the past several decades, I have spent a lot of time and money and tried to resolve my problem and Dr. Mo fixed it. In addition, my recovery was quick and it took only 4 weeks. Right after that, my wife and I went to Europe trips for a month and enjoyed it. Thank you very much for Dr. Mo's fantastic operation!
It’s been a little over 4 years since I had a micro-discectomy on my L4-L5. I was 23 at the time, and had no idea how I had herniated my disc so horribly that it required surgery. I am a retired urologist and I had a excellent experience with Dr Mo as my spine surgery. He has excellent surgical skills as well as judgement. He also had a very competent and efficient surgical support staff and team. I am impressed.
DR. Mo recently performed a Laminectomy as well as a Lumbar Spinal Fusion. The recent surgery that I underwent was a redo/fix of that which was performed by DR Drew Pateder on April 27th and April 28th,2020. I cannot say enough good words about DR. I had an L4/L5/S1 Spinal Fusion in December 2019. After a quick recovery and minimal time on pain pills, I have worked my way back to walking up to 3 miles per day within a year. Things couldn't have gone better. I knew Dr. Mo's reputation before surgery because my Neurologist, Dr. Tekrony, recommended him very highly. I am so glad I listened to him. Dr. Mo is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. ?I’ve been to four doctors before I was recommended to him. He was very clear in explaining my condition and the treatment that was needed. He listened and was easy to communicate with. He displayed confidence and that made it easier for me to make a decision to proceed with the surgery.
