He’s very meticulous and always strives for excellence. He takes his time to be sure his job is well done. He also guides you through the healing process with all the best tools and information and is well rounded at comprehensive care involving vitamins and nourishment with medication exercise PT and overall health.

Doc gets straight to the point, He has a good bedside manner but doesn't let that impede of him getting to the point of what should needs to get done and how to best go about it.
All parts of healing my injury were handled vert well! Specifically, the diagnosis of my injury, the correction of the problem and the constant follow-up after surgery were all done with high quqlity and strong communication.
Dr Ferkel took on saving my lower leg, ankle and foot. Even after I self diagnosed, shut down and decided I didn’t need to see a doctor. Please don’t do what I did. I risked losing my foot. While getting a Cat scan at Cedars I met a man in the waiting room who did what I did years ago, and without the luck of having Dr. Ferkel, ended up having his foot amputated because his ankle was beyond repair. I had a very complex foot problem and it was extremely painful. No other orthopedic surgeon could do the surgery ( the surgeons said that they couldn’t do it). MD Ferkel did the surgery for me. Im still healing but parts on my lower leg, foot and ankle feel better than before the surgery. I needed help, my foot was useless, I couldn’t work.
