I felt Like dr Ferkel was fast and efficient with diagnosing the tear . Explain everything in detail . I was seen on a Monday. I was In surgery by that next Monday ! Communication was done through a app that gives you all the information you need for recovery! Overall I would definitely recommend Dr Ferkel .
I have had many orthopedic surgeries in the past, unfortunately, and have seen many different surgeons and I can tell you that the personal care by Dr. Eric Ferkel has been the best experience by a long run! Many orthopedic surgeons are arrogant and have zero people skills. While they also may be talented surgeons, the after-care treatment can be very annoying being rushed in and out, snarky demeaning answers to questions, etc DR. FERKEL IS THE POLAR OPPOSITE! Dr. Ferkel is top notch. His daily post op check ins are very helpful. He actually cares about his patients and takes the time to get to know them and follow up with any questions or concerns. I would recommend Dr. Ferkel and his associates for any orthopedic issues you may have.
After visiting 2 other surgeons for opinions, from the moment I met Dr.Ferkel he exuded competence, confidence & a love for his work. Choosing him was the best decision I made. My surgery went so smoothly. The care I received from him & his entire team was outstanding. Dr. Ferkel is very reassuring and helpful through the whole process.. from pre-surgery, during surgery, and post surgery. He takes care of you extremely well.
I saw Dr. Ferkel for an injured ankle. I needed surgery. I am actively in care and I am very happy with Dr. Ferkel and SCOI. I had no post op complications and any questions or concerns I had were immediately addressed by Dr. Ferkel. I like the Get Well tool. It is a very effective way to communicate with Dr. Ferkel and he is very responsive. My son is a multi sport athlete and is looking forward to our insurance change so that he can see Dr. Ferkel.
Hi had an amazing experience with Dr. Ferkel. He came heavily recommended. When he heard I thought I tore my Achilles, his office scheduled me for a visit that same week and I had surgery the following week. I’ve had two ACLs surgeries before and I can tell you the recovery for this has been going really well. Dr. Ferkel is extremely attentive, easy to get a hold off and extremely accommodating with the vast number of questions I barrage him with. Would definitely recommend him to anyone.
